I found a property I like in Abu Dhabi. My agent took the deposit and I signed the tenancy agreement but a few days later told me that the property was already rented out by another agent. What do I do in this case? Does the deposit slip have any legal binding?

For the agent to inform you that the property has been rented out means that he has defaulted in his obligations and you should request the security deposit to be refunded in addition to the agent’s commission.
