5 handpicked vessels at the 2017 Monaco Yacht Show

The Monaco Yacht Show has never failed to impress us with glamorous, luxurious, and extraordinary vessels. Europe’s biggest in-water display of large yachts entered its 27th anniversary with more than 100 yachts that feature helipads and Jacuzzis and other stunning features that are simply dazzling.

We handpicked these 5 vessels that just left us mesmerized:

Jubilee

Let’s start big, Jubilee was the largest superyacht at Monaco Yacht Show and the largest yacht ever built in The Netherlands. The 361.2ft yacht was awarded the MYS 2017 Exterior Design Award as well as the MYS 2017 Finest New Superyacht Award. The yacht can accommodate 30 passengers in 15 different cabins and has a helipad, two balconies on the main deck (port and starboard) in the dining room and lounge bar… Yeah, we know how you are feeling.

Gulf Craft Majesty 100

UAE‘s Gulf Craft Majesty 100 had its European debut at the MYC 2017. “Why did we pick this yacht?” you may wonder. Well, it is Gulf Craft’s first semi-convertible flybridge superyacht which maximizes space and offers panoramic, open-air seascape views. And because it was balanced between practicality and performance, it is “perfect for entry-level superyacht owners, whether they are looking for a waterfront retreat or an oceangoing adventure” as mentioned by Gulf Craft’s CEO, Erwin Bamps.

Sarastar

Meet Sarastar, a 197.5ft all-aluminum semi-displacement vessel that can accommodate 12 guests in 6 cabins (a master suite, 1 VIP stateroom, 3 double cabins and 1 twin cabin). It is a perfect combination of luxury and performance. It also has anchor stabilizers, WiFi connection on board, and a Gym. It’s basically a home in a form of a vessel.

Rivale 56

The first new model in the Riva range since the passing of Carlo Riva, the mastermind behind the brand, in April this year. The 56ft yacht combines simplicity, elegance, and advanced technology. Although the design looks slick in a simple way, the Rivale has some has complex technical details. The interior consists of dark mahogany, lacquered hardwoods, dark leather coverings, and white fabrics.

Aston Martin AM37

Although the AM37 was debuted in last year’s MYS, it was showcased at this year’s Yacht Show and we are still in love with it. The Aston Martin AM37 is 37ft (hence the name) and was built in conjunction with Quintessence Yacht. Starting price of this masterpiece is $1.4m (AED 5.1m). The cockpit can be deployed from the owner’s Apple Watch! Each AM37 will have custom interior outfitted, and the plan is to build just 10 per year.

Ok, it’s time to snap back to reality.
